I spent my influential years growing up in Ada, graduated from Ada High School, and attended college in Minneapolis and other locations while in the military. Retired from the Army after more than 20 years and returned to Ada shortly afterward. I am married, and my wife Wanda and I have six children between us, most of which are grown. I serve the public as the County Veterans Service Officer, and it is my goal and ambition to serve the City of Ada with the utmost integrity; it is also my intent to keep the City’s best interests in mind at all times. I serve on the Public Safety, Zoning and Planning, Public Works and Flood committees. Please feel free to contact me at jrosenberger@adamn.gov.

I was born and raised in St. Paul, MN.  I graduated from Highland Park Senior High School, Gustavus Adolphus College and William Mitchell College of Law.  My wife, Linda, and I moved to Ada in 1975.  All four of our children were born and raised here.  Linda and I have been very active in organizations in  Ada.  I was elected as Norman County Attorney six times and served as Ada City Attorney for more than 30 years.  After practicing both public and private sector law for 37 years I retired in 2011.  Linda and I consider our decision to move to Ada and raise our family here as one of the very best decisions we have ever made.  Ada is a wonderful place to live!

I am a currently a client representative / co-chairperson on the Norman County Salvation Army Board. I’ve been employed at Norman County Social Services for about 10 years. I graduated from MN State Community & Technical College with a degree as a Legal Assistant.  I’ve lived in Norman County most of my life and recently, my family relocated to Ada where we purchased and are renovating a house. I’ve been married to my husband Heath for 12 years and we have three children.  I wanted to put my hat in for City Council to not only be a part of my new community, but also, to be involved in the new and exciting things that I’ve been watching happen in Ada for some time now.  I’m honored to have this opportunity.
